We've seen Piatt throw better. Looked like he was exerting a lot more effort than usual. Still he got it up into the upper 80s. We've seen him at 90. Didn't get a lot of bite on his breaking ball, but threw it anywhere from 74-79 mph. He's a big strong guy with an outstanding future in baseball. Keep a close eye on him next spring.
