Peyton Conley is a 2029 RHP/MIF/OF with a 5-7 145 lb. frame from Smith Mountain Lake, VA who attends Smith Mountain Lake Christian Academy. Medium young athletic build with lots of time and room to get stronger. Has balanced mechanics on the mound working to a 3/4's arm slot, gets into his lower half well and gets everything out of his body heading to the plate, arm works well but still developing consistency in syncing up his upper and lower halves. Fastball was in the low 80's and topped out at 84 mph, misses mostly glove side with is fastball. Also threw a developing curveball and change up. Impressive arm strength for his age, velocity will take care of itself with improved mechanics. 7.57 runner in the sixty. Worked out both in the infield and outfield and showed good arm strength and athleticism at both, feet worked well in the infield and he showed range as well. Switch-hitter at the plate, has a similar approach from both sides with a bit more lift in his swing left handed, pretty short and direct to the ball, better feel for the barrel on the right side.
