2003 World Showcase   Jan 11, 2003
PG Grade: 10
Miller’s performance at the PG World Showcase ranks with the best ever at this event. When a 6’6” lefty is throwing 91-95 with a plus 84 mph slider, scouts become giddy. His first 5 pitches were clocked at 94 mph. Miller looks a little bigger, but remains very thin. He still projects out of sight. You can only wonder, just how good will he end up being. His arm works like a whip and he’s very effortless. He’s going to gain 50 lbs and with his arm it looks like a 100 mph future is entirely possible, if not likely! One thing for sure, Miller put himself into the upper stratosphere of next June’s draft. He has signed with North Carolina and is serious about an education, but can he afford to go there?
