Bryce Haydock is a 2029 OF/RHP with a 5-11 162 lb. frame from League City, TX who attends Lutheran South Academy. Lean young athletic build. Outstanding runner, 6.37 in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, works low through the ball and fields it cleanly, longer arm action, tends to throw uphill, more arm strength there if he got on top of the ball. Right handed hitter, sets up in a medium straight stance with a deep hand load, simple somewhat abrupt swing, swings hard with a line drive swing path, can get long into the zone at times, has the raw bat speed to project as a hitter. Took a turn on the mound, worked from the stretch with a simple leg raise and turn delivery and 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with good low spin sink down in the zone, still developing feel for getting out front with his curveball. Good student.
