Adrian Soto is a 2023 C/3B with a 5-11 195 lb. frame from Santo Domingo, NC. Medium, broad shouldered frame with present strength proportioned throughout, strong lower half. Ran a 7.75 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, shows softness to hands receiving the ball out front, quickness to release, gets to a lower slot on release, has quickness to feet and timing in actions, repeats, ball tends to run out of hand with current release. Right-handed hitter, begins with a spread and open stance, utilizes a big leg lift trigger for timing and incorporates physical strength well into swing. Swings with intent and shows easy juice off of the barrel when on time, gets into a good power position and remains on plane well through the zone, best contact out of pull side with carry.
