Julio Baquero is a 2022 OF with a 5-8 150 lb. frame from Hollywood, FL who attends Everglades. Slender athletic build with lots of room to get stronger. Very good runner, 6.65 in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense. Comes to the ball well on defense with active footwork, fields the ball cleanly, developing arm strength, can get the ball on line on his throws more consistently. Right handed hitter, hits from a straight spread stance with limited lower half shift into contact, swings with his arms and can get into his lower half better, works the ball around the field with a line drive swing plane. Good student.
