Nehemiah Torres is a 2026 SS/RHP/3B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Northbrook, IL who attends Glenbrook North. Long and slender athletic build with some present strength and room for plenty more. Right handed hitter, sets up in a spread and open stance with an inward toe tap timer, busy hand load, lots of moving parts going into his swing. Has some hand speed and quickness and stays short to the ball with some extension to it, impacts the ball hard when everything comes together. 7.53 runner in the sixty. Primary shortstop on defense, comes to the ball well, best defense tool is a flexible arm with some whip and looseness and ability to make accurate throws from different angles. Good student.
