Owen Ralph is a 2024 SS/RHP with a 5-10 140 lb. frame from Toronto, ON who attends Riverdale Collegiate Institute. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and a lean, projectable build with room to fill throughout moving forward. Listed as a primary shortstop, only pitched in this look; works exclusively out of stretch, gets into lower half well coming down the mound with tempo; clean arm action through the backside and hides it well working to a three-quarters release point. Fastball topped out at 85 mph, moderate effort at release but repeats operation well and shows riding life through the zone; attacked hitters and missed bats up in the zone. Works ahead in the count, curveball shows short, downer action up to 72 mph and shows biting finish when thrown with conviction. Very good student. Named to PG CPBL Fall Top Prospect List.
