Tate Belfanti is a 2027 LHP/OF with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Long Beach, CA who attends Cypress. Features a medium athletic frame with long levers and room to add. Ran a 7.08 sixty yard dash. Primary left-handed pitcher with a standard side step delivery into a belt high leg lift, quarter turn and works downhill. Loose, quick arm throwing out of a three-quarter arm slot with long arm action. Fastball has glove side run and can move it in and out effectively and is not afraid to challenge on the inner half. Breaking ball is slurvey with 1-7 shape and late action. Fastball up to 87 with more to come. Secondary outfielder, fields it out front and works through the baseball with a quick arm, throwing out of an over the top slot and working downhill. Outfield velocity up to 90 and stayed accurate throughout. Wide base at the plate with a high back elbow and a slight heel lift trigger. Up the middle approach and stayed on a line with present bat speed. Named to the 2024 Fall Top Prospect National Showcase Top Performance List. Good Student.
