Michael Pudlo is a 2010 SS/2B/OF with a 5'6'', 125 lb. frame from Grayslake IL, who attends Carmel Catholic. Pudlo has a young body with a lean wirey build. Defensively, Pudlo has a nice set up to ball and gets good reads off the bat. He has a short release on his throws across the infield and has a good idea of how to play defensively. Pudlo has solid defensive actions for a 2010 grad and should make big strides as he grows and matures. At the plate, Pudlo starts with a square stance and uses a no stride approach. He has a quiet approach in the box and uses a contact type hitters approach. Pudlo has a short swing and uses his hands well in his swing. Pudlo swings on a line drive path and has present line drive pop. He is an interesting young player who has the potentail to get a lot better as he grows and fills out. Pudlo is an excellent student.
