Makenna Askeland is a 2023 1B/3B from Griswold, IA who attends Griswold Senior. Makenna showcased her ability to handle the hot corners. She is a player that bring a lot to a team with her offense and ability to be a vacuum over at first base. She has solid footwork and does a good job getting back to the bag. Able to move smooth to her front and back hand and continuously made the routine plays. Overall solid thought out her entire time in the infield, Offensively she is player that does a good job generating power throughout her swing. Good barrel whip to the ball and does not swing and miss often. Makenna is an athlete with big upside and a lot of potential to continue on and play this game.
