2021 Fall Northern California Showcase
Ronan French is a 2024 SS/2B, 3B with a 5-10 152 lb. frame from Danville, CA who attends Monte Vista. Features a medium build with some strength within. Ran an 8.18 60-yard. Caught the ball fairly well throughout infield drills. Moves best to the glove side. Moving with more urgency throughout fielding process would allow for a quicker release. Utilizes a wide base setup at the plate with the hands shoulder high. A simple, single step load allows for consistent timing. Line drive approach stays through the middle of the field well. More power will come as more strength is added to the frame. Good hitting fundamentals that will only continue to develop. Very student, as well.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
