Yu Suefuji is a 2027 SS/RHP/MIF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Bradenton, FL who attends IMG Academy. Medium frame with a good young build. Ran a 7.78 second 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, good mover on the dirt with confidence in his actions, glove works well on the move and does a lot well in terms of positioning his body to move into throws, accurate throws across with good strength up to 76 already, good foundation of defensive tools. Right-handed hitter, balanced base and does a good job shifting his weight into contact, has quick hands and creates some torque already, able to separate and create backspun contact to either gap, overall excellent hitting traits across the board. Named to 14U Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
