KC Fall Softball Scouting Combine Morning Session
Hailey Prince is a 5-10, class 2025 RHP/IF from Checotah, OK who attends Checotah HS. Hailey is a noticeably strong athlete who is a skilled and talented two-way player. Her fundamental foundation and already advanced ability should allow her to continue to grow her game as her career continues. A primary RHP, Hailey shows three plus, projectable pitches. Her arm swing and lower half are joined and allow her to power an advanced fastball that has plus spin to both sides of the plate. She compliments her sound, well-commanded fastball with a highly deceptive change-up that is thrown with FB arm action. Her change shows some glove side cut action and is worked to the glove side edge. Her curveball is a solid pitch that will continue to improve as she gains experience against higher level competition. Her curve shows flatter break currently and has plus average spin that will allow her to add depth to the pitch in the future. Hailey also took a turn on the infield and showed skills that should allow her to excel at one of the two corner IF spots. She positions well and her glove plays. She transitions to throw routinely and her noticeably strong arm and her throws are firm and hold their plane. She is a very accurate thrower. At the plate, Hailey shows an impressive power approach. Balanced at the ready, she uses a wider base and a quick trigger. She has a flatter bat path and incorporates a slight lift at contact. She has advanced feel for the barrel and can drive the ball out of any part of the park. She shows special projectable power on pitches middle-in. Big upside as a hitter. Hailey is a certain college prospect if she continues to work to improve her already obvious talent. Outstanding future ahead for this gifted player.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
