KC Fall Softball Scouting Combine Afternoon Session
Aubrey Lensmeyer is a 5'5, class of 2025, RHP/OF from Ankeny, IA who attends Ankeny HS. Aubrey is a talented, rising standout, who shows outstanding fundamental ability. Even though she did not pitch during the Combine, her ability in the circle was center stage during the KC Showcase Tourney. And, Aubrey is a future pitching standout. Definite college prospect as a pitcher. She ran a 3.38 20-yard dash with a 1.15 5-yard dash. Aubrey did take defensive reps in the outfield, and did quite well. She has a firm understanding of positioning and her footwork is routine. She plays through the fielding action well and transitions easily. Her 49-mph throws are accurate. Solid effort. At the plate, Aubrey has a solid grasp of the bunt game and can handle the bat. She has a sound swing operation. Balanced at the ready, she has an easy and direct path to contact. Plus feel for the barrel. Shows loud pull side pop and when on time and on path, She can strike the ball with force. There is some emerging power in her bat, too. Aubrey is a unquestioned college prospect. Her bat and ability in the circle that she showed well during competition, will draw attention from a number of collegiate programs. Should she continue to be attentive to detail, get in the weight room and add strength, and just keep working to refine her already advanced game, Aubrey may have a number of options concerning her college path. High ceiling! Big, bright future!

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
