Aiden Cody is a 2024 RHP/ with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Spring Lake Heights, NJ who attends St. John Vianney HS. Athletic frame with a wiry build and room for more strength. Primary right-handed pitcher who only pitched during the event. Big leg lift above the belt with a small coil over the rubber. Some effort at release with good life on the fastball. Topped out at 88 mph and lived in the mid to upper 80s. Long arm stroke with plenty of whip; extended three-quarters arm slot and cuts the fastball over to the glove side. Tunnels the heater well with the slider which is a dynamic pitch for him. Upper-70s slider with excellent sweep and tight spin north of 2600+ rpm. Lots of swing-and-miss on the slider, sometimes by a lot, particularly to right-handed hitters breaking away from them. Flashed a couple of changeups but slider is s difference maker. Great student.
