Aidan Heffner is a 2023 SS/2B/OF with a 5-11 182 lb. frame from Averill Park, NY who attends LaSalle Institute. Recorded a 4.72 second forty-yard dash time. Medium, athletic frame with some lean muscle throughout and plenty of room to add strength. Primary middle-infielder with quick twitch actions throughout the fielding process, a clean funnel and exceptional range to either side. Works downhill through the baseball well and showed the ability to throw from multiple arm angles when necessary. Recorded arm strength up to 85 mph across the diamond. Right-handed hitter that hits from a narrow, slightly open stance with a low, flat hand set and low back elbow. Incorporates hanging leg lift trigger for timing, while using rotational lower half movements to create torque. Leveraged stroke with uphill swing plane and some quickness to his hands, displayed consistent bat-to-ball skills and loud impact from gap-to-gap when on-time. Exhibits plenty of present bat speed and good extension out in front. Will continue to improve with subtle adjustments within his swing and additional strength. Athletic skill set with upside on both sides of the ball. Excellent Student. Named to the 2022 Perfect Game Northeast Indoor Showcase Top Prospect List.
