Nate Shaw is a 2022 RHP/1B, 3B, SS with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Canfield, OH who attends Canfield HS. Recorded a 7.29 second 60-yard dash time. Medium frame with an athletic build and room to add strength. Primary righthanded pitcher with a side step into a leg lift at the belt. Long arm stroke that is deep in the back but arm speed allows him to be on time. Short stride with a high three-quarters arm slot. Crossfire landing leg with real arm speed. Fastball shows very good life and misses a lot of bats. Breaking ball shows 2/8 shape with some sweeping action. Shows good bite to the pitch and can lock up lefthanded hitters over the inside part of the plate. Arm strength also plays from secondary position of the infield. Righthanded hitter with a high hand set, high back elbow, and good strenght in his wrists. Good bat path with a middle of the field approach. Aggressive approach. Good student.
