Charlie Bower is a 2022 LHP/1B, OF with a 6-6 202 lb. frame from Austin, TX who attends Lake Travis. Ran a 7.48 second sixty-yard dash. Tall, left-handed pitcher with a long-limbed and projectable build. Starts from the windup with a small side step into a high leg lift. Has a slight pause at the top, messing with the overall timing of the delivery at times. Has a circle arm stroke in the back, coming through from a high three-quarter slot. Has developing consistency to release point, running the fastball up to 80 miles per hour. Shows a breaking ball with 11-5 shape and big break at 70 miles per hour. Also worked out at first base, showcasing athletic actions and and long arm action to throw. Drops the slot when coming off the bag and looks comfortable doing so. Has some moving parts to the swing, with developing feel for the barrel and and a longer path to contact. Very good student.
