Jared Teke is a 2022 C/RHP/3B with a 5-11 165 lb. frame from Batavia, OH who attends Batavia. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. Shows nice athleticism behind the plate defensively, gets low and flexible behind the plate, has some quickness in his feet, good exchange into his throws. Right handed hitter, has a short line drive swing, gets out front early, upper body rotational swing, pull side to mid field contact. Also pitched and graded out best on the mound, potential future primary pitcher. Has simple and repeatable mechanics with high leg lift start and a high 3/4's arm slot, arm works very well with good downhill plane. Fastball topped out at 85 mph with occasional arm side run, threw both a curveball and slider with good spin and some depth. Impressive on the mound. Good student. Named to the Ohio Valley Showcase Top Prospect List.
