Brody McKenzie is a 2021 OF/RHP with a 5-11 130 lb. frame from Ocean City, NJ who attends St. Augustine Prep. Tall and projectable frame with room to fill. Ran a 7.63 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, deliberate actions moving to the baseball, shuffles into throws with an extra step at release, full arm action up to a high release point, average arm strength that topped out at 78 mph from the outfield. Secondary righthanded pitcher, starts windup with a side step up to a high leg lift, gets solid use of his lower half as he drives down the mound, takes arm back to a full arm action up to a high ¾ arm slot, lands closed, fastball topped out at 75 mph, should develop an offspeed pitch for added effectiveness. Righthanded hitter, sets up with a deep hand set, takes a long swing plane with rotational actions, has some barrel feel with plenty of projection remaining at the plate, will improve pop off of the barrel with added strength.
