Jackson Nove is a 2021 LHP/1B with a 6-5 185 lb. frame from Fairfax, IA who attends Prairie. Long and loose young pitcher's build, lots of physical projection remaining. High leg raise delivery, arm is loose and easy from a 3/4's arm slot, repeats his mechanics well, showed better stuff and command this outing when working from the stretch. Steady mid-80's fastball, gets nice tailing action at times, more velocity there as he fills out and gets stronger. Flashed quality to both his curveball and change up. Curveball has some 1/7 depth to it, still developing consistency on his body/arm speed on his change but threw a couple of good ones, was confident throwing the change up to both left handed and right handed hitters. Good chance to keep improving at the next level. Verbal commitment to Kentucky. Good student. Named to the Midwest Top Prospect Games Top Prospect List.
