Mitchell Alba is a 2020 OF/RHP, 1B with a 6-3 178 lb. frame from Franklin, WI who attends Franklin. Tall and projectable frame with lots of room to fill throughout. Ran a 7.01 second 60 yard dash. Primary outfielder, moves to the baseball smoothly fielding the baseball out in front, shuffles into his release with a loose arm action, throws with intent and solid arm strength, repeatedly accurate to his target, topped out at 85 mph from the outfield. Secondary righthanded pitcher, takes his arm back to a loose arm action up to a high 3/4 arm slot, present arm speed on the mound, stays online down the mound opening up his front side as the front foot lands, fastball topped out at 83 mph, mixed in a tight slider. Righthanded hitter, sets up with a slightly open stance, downhill swing plane that gets long at times, developing strength off of the barrel that will improve with maturity. Good student.
