Bobby Alcock is a 2020 RHP/ with a 6-4 215 lb. frame from Lynn, MA who attends St. Mary's HS. Large frame with present physicality, broad shoulders, and strength to the frame. Primary righthanded pitcher who only pitched during the event. Short, quick arm stroke that leads to a high three-quarters arm slot. Fastball has some late life with sink and locates low in the zone very effectively. Attacks hitters early with the fastball and has good feel for the breaking ball. Creates good down angle on the fastball and has good direction with his lower half toward the plate. Filled up the zone nicely with both pitches and maintained velocity nicely. Curveball had 11/5 break with good spin and a lot of depth. Would mix pitches and throw either with intent and command. Polished arm with projectable upside. Named to the 2018 Northeast Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
