Matt Huckabee is a 2020 1B/3B, OF with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from Fort Valley, GA who attends The Westfield Schools. Recorded a 7.85 second 60-yard dash time, 4.79 second home to first. Large, physical frame with well-proportioned strength present. Primary first baseman who throws from an over the top slot. Creates good carry on his throws and fields out in front nicely. Arm strength recorded up to 77 mph and played as well from his secondary position of the outfield. Secondary righthanded pitcher who throws exclusively from the stretch. Leg lift up to the belt with a short arm stroke. Tight, high three-quarters arm slot and has some funk on the mound. Softer breaking ball with 10/5 shape and lands online toward the plate. Righthanded hitter with a small leg lift trigger into contact. Wide base to start and looks to work both gaps. Line drive approach with some impact strength. Good student.
