Collin Ewaldsen is a 2024 RHP/MIF with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Baxley, GA who attends Appling County. Recorded a 7.17 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher with a physicality and projection. Delivery is quick with compact movements, starting with a leg lift to core level. Threw from a high slot and fastball topped at 85 mph with late giddy up. Showed a good changeup in which bottom fell out on. Also threw a curveball and showed solid feel to spin it. Quick arm and projects very well. Secondary infielder and displayed quickness to feet and athleticism. Softness to hands and released quickly, reaching 88 mph across the diamond. Also worked out in the outfield and showed energy and intent to actions. Threw accurately to the bases. Left-handed hitter and starts with a medium base and even feet. Showcased good bat speed and takes an inside path to the ball. Has some steepness through the zone with length. Excellent student. Named to the 2022 Florida Prospect Top Prospect List.
