Tommy Boba is a 2022 RHP/ with a 6-1 195 lb. frame from Wheaton, IL who attends Wheaton Warrenville South. Right-handed pitcher with a physical frame and present strength in the lower half. Starts from the windup with a small side step into a leg lift that reaches just above the belt. Has good direction down the mound with drop and drive actions in the lower half, has a longer take back with present arm speed from an over the top slot. Works to both sides of the plate effectively with the fastball at 81-85 miles per hour, flashing some arm-side life at times and showing the ability to change eye levels with the pitch. Shows some feel to land a fading change-up for strikes in the mid-70s, maintaining arm speed well. Has developing feel to spin a curveball with 11-5 shape and some depth in the upper-60s, shows the most bite and depth when on time and out front. Good student.
