Zach Dantuono is a 2021 RHP/1B, 3B, OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Chesterfield, MO who attends Westminster Christian Academy. Right-handed pitcher with a tall and slender frame. Works exclusively from the stretch with a belt high leg lift that leads into tall and fall actions down the mound. Has present arm speed from an over the top slot, generating steep, downward plane to the fastball up to 89 miles per hour. Dantuono pitches at 86-88 miles per hour and locates the fastball well to both sides of the plate. Shows good feel to spin a 12-6 curveball that flashes really late and sharp depth through the zone, generating swings and misses both in and below the zone with excellent command. Can locate a low-80s change-up as well, flashing late-fading life to the arm-side. Named to 2020 Pitcher/Catcher Showcase, Top Prospect List.
