Moses Brown V is a 2021 RHP/IF/OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Newport News, VA who attends Menchville. Nice athletic build with good present strength and room for more. Short side step delivery with a high leg lift, has good balance and direction down the mound with lots of explosion at release, arm is fast and creates big downhill angle on his pitches. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph, plus arm side running action at times. Slurve type breaking ball with good sweeping depth. Has some effort to the operation but the stuff is firm and quality. Outstanding athlete, 6.64 runner in the sixty with plenty of two way potential. Showed his arm well in the outfield defensively and has smooth and easy actions through the ball, also plays the infield. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide stance with a low hand load, glides into contact, creates back spin and gets good carry on the ball, swung the bat well in games. No college commitment at present. Good student. Named to the Coastal Prospect Showcase Top Prospect List.
