Brandon Burckel is a 2021 2B/RHP/SS with a 5-11 175 lb. frame from Lindale, TX who attends Lindale. Medium athletic build with good present strength. Polished and advanced player defensively, stood out in games at all three infield positions, works through and around the ball very instinctively, showed good arm strength and carry, slows the game down defensively and makes plays. Right handed hitter, has a simple timer and trigger, drives his hands through the ball, can get a bit inside at time with a right centerfield orientation but showed he could turn on it as well, coils and uncoils well. Good student, verbal commitment to Houston. Named to the South Top Prospect Top Prospect List.
