Sky Jones is a 2021 RHP/OF with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Burlingame, CA who attends Saint Francis. Strong build with plenty of present physical maturity. Compact arm action in back during a high leg lift delivery, some effort at release but controls his direction well, some drop and drive coming down the mound, will occasionally open his front side early but does a good job of repeating his mechanics. Topped out at 91 mph on his fastball, maintained his velocity well out of the stretch, throws strikes with his fastball, mostly straight with occasional running action. Showed good feel for a power curveball that generated lots of swing and miss when he was on top of it. Mature pitcher with the ability to mix his pitches and throw strikes. Good student.
