Nick Demarco is a 2021 IF/RHP with a 5-11 185 lb. frame from South Elgin, IL who attends St. Charles North. Medium build with very good present strength. Right handed hitter, hits from a wide stance with a pull back load, never gets back to even from his set up, has strong hands and can get the ball to jump when he stays short and direct to the ball, stays inside the ball with a short rotational approach, can create better separation and bat speed with future adjustments. Showed good defensive tools on the left side of the infield, especially at third base, long and loose arm stroke with lots of carry on his throws, has athletic and quick footwork and works through the ball well, can drop his slot effectively. Also pitched, big wrapped arm action in back, up tempo delivery. Fastball topped out at 87 mph, mostly straight. Curveball is his pitch, has power bit and plus spin at times and is throw for strikes. Reliever approach. Excellent student, verbal commitment to Notre Dame.
