Duncan Howard is a 2020 RHP/1B, OF with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Kernersville, NC who attends Glenn. Large frame with lean, highly-projectable build. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.00 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, lengthy offline arm stroke through the back, quick arm through release, online short stride into landing, fastball worked 81-84 mph with good plane to the plate, worked fastball to both sides, showed curveball with 10/4 shape and good depth, did a good job to throw both pitches for strikes. Showed solid hitting tools, swing gets lengthy at times, quality bat speed with mostly middle-oppo approach, good strength when barrel gets out, solid projection. Also took outfield reps where arm strength was clocked up to 85 mph. Named to 2018 Atlantic Coast Top Prospect List, very good student.
