2019 Mid-Atlantic Prospect Showcase
Tim Nicholson is a 2021 C/UT with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Darnestown, MD who attends Georgetown Preparatory School. Recorded a 7.22 second 60-yard dash time. Lean and athletic frame with a slender build and room to fill out. Primary catcher with a lower set and very good direction toward the target. Simple mechanics and repeats motion well. Solid arm strength recorded up to 78 mph with compact, quick footwork. Open stance with a direct hand path to contact. Good bat speed with some natural leverage and strength to the pull side. Comfort and balance in the box with good carry to the middle of the field and pull side. Tremendous student. Verbal commitment to George Washington. Named to the 2019 Mid Atlantic Showcase Top Prospect List.
