Lineras Torres Jr is a 2018 RHP with a 6-2 190 lb. frame from Beacon, NY who attends Beacon HS. Slender athletic build, loose athletic actions, young look and very young for the 2018 class. Works from the stretch with an easy low effort delivery, compact arm action, ball comes out of his hand easily. Steady 92-94 mph fastball, worked consistently to the bottom of the zone and worked ahead in counts. Gets on the side of his slider at times but imparts good spin to the pitch. Threw one 88 mph cutter that could be refined into a change up. Really projects physically and in his delivery. Verbal commitment to St. Johns. Selected for the 2017 Perfect Game All-American Classic.
