Tyler Abrego is a 2021 SS/RHP/2B with a 5-10 155 lb. frame from Argyle, TX who attends Argyle HS. Slender young build, lots of room to get stronger. 7.24 runner, has fluid balanced actions in the infield with good footwork, gets around the ball well and works through it, soft hands, has good young arm strength and makes accurate throws, has a chance to be a next level middle infielder. Right handed hitter, hits from an open spread stance, swings hard and has some bat speed, good flow into his swing with lower half involvement, consistent mid field contact, will continue to improve as he gets stronger. Also pitched, has flexibility in his delivery with a high leg raise, compact arm circle to a high 3/4's arm slot. Fastball topped out at 80 mph, gets some late sinking action, curveball has good spin and some 12/6 downer depth. Threw strikes with both pitches. Good student.
