Garrett Boeckle is a 2020 RHP with a 6-0 200 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Berkeley Prep. Strong build with plenty of upper body strength. Slow paced leg raise delivery, over the top arm slot, humps up over the rubber to get over top of the ball, works very downhill, medium length arm action, front side can be early at times. Fastball topped out at 88 mph, mostly straight, comfortable working the glove side corner, more velocity in there. Curveball was his best pitch, has power and is sharp and biting with good depth when he's on time with it, can buckle knees with his best ones. Just getting back on mound after TJ surgery and this was a good outing for him. Good student. Named to the National Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospects List.
