Drew Acosta is a 2019 3B/RHP/1B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Scurry, TX who attends Scurry-Rosser HS. Thick build with some present strength, especially in the lower half. 7.74 runner, best position on the infield is first base. Right handed hitter, hits from an open stance, short swing and showed some hand quickness in games, best contact is when he's getting barrel out in front and looking to pull the ball. Also pitched, upper 60's fastball, every fastball has cutter action due to his flying open with his front side but it was thrown for strikes and was effective. Good student.
