Anthony Silva is a 2022 SS/2B/3B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from San Antonio, TX who attends Clark. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and length to limbs, projects very well with room for added strength throughout. Quick-twitch, posted a 6.58 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, fields the ball out front, wide base, moves well on feet with fluidity while showing lateral agility, takes good angles to the ball, online release and throws have present carry and strength across the diamond. Right-handed hitter, begins with narrow base and a high hand set, utilizes a small stride through lower half moving into contact. Gets on plane well with swing, shows the ability to work both gaps and utilizes a line drive approach at the plate. Quickness to offensive tools and projects with added strength, clean stroke through the zone. Very good student. Verbal commitment to TCU.
