Emilio Corona is a 2020 OF/C with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from San Luis Obispo, CA who attends San Luis Obispo. Strong athletic build. Showed game changing speed posting a 6.56 second sixty-yard dash. Worked out defensively as a primary outfielder. Flashed deliberate shorter strides with quick footwork and athletic actions working to and through the ball in the outfield. Displayed confident glove actions while fielding to the side of the ball. Flashed good arm strength with accurate carry to the bases topping out at 83 MPH from the outfield. Right handed hitter. Employs a even slightly wider stance with a high hand set and leg lift trigger. Flashed the ability to get the barrel out front with good bat speed and barrel control creating consistently driven line drives and fly balls to the pull side. Showed a naturally leveraged barrel path with smoothness throughout the swing showing good power with a 93 MPH exit velocity during workouts.
