Sam Hliboki is a 2019 RHP with a 6-3 185 lb. frame from Valley Village, CA who attends Harvard-Westlake HS. Young and projectable high waisted build. Multi-part delivery with a long arm swing in back, stays on line well, high 3/4's arm slot, repeats mechanics well. Fastball topped out at 91 mph, mostly straight with good downhill plane, challenges with his fastball and pitches to contact. Best curveballs at lower velocities, tends to throw through the break at 75-76 mph, flashes good depth. Strike thrower who was efficient and projects physically. Very good student, verbal commitment to Vanderbilt.
