Zach Turner is a 2019 RHP/3B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Acworth, GA who attends North Cobb Christian HS. Tall, lean, and wiry frame with long limbs and lots of room to fill out and add strength. Primary righthanded pitcher with a lower three-quarters arm slot and a short arm stroke. Tight release and a compact overall delivery with a short stride down the mound. Solid balance from a high leg kick at the balance point while staying online through the finish. Fastball up to 88 mph and he commanded the pitch well while mixing in a tight, late-breaking slider; good depth and feel for the pitch. Good tempo and attacks hitters head on. Flashed a straight changeup that he maintained arm speed on. Stays on top consistently and gets downhill. More velocity in the tank. Named to the 2018 Sunshine Southeast Showcase Top Prospect List. Good student.
