Tyler Collins is a 2021 OF/MIF with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from McKinney, TX who attends McKinney Boyd. Medium athletic build with plenty of room to get stronger. 6.63 runner, plays much faster than his sixty time in games, quick twitch athlete with a very fast first step, runs 4.0 to 4.1 home to first from the left side and steals bases easily. Left handed hitter, hits from a closed and narrow stance with a deep arm bar load, hands driven swing with quick hands, short inside swing path, shows more pop than one would expect with his approach, has the tools to open up his swing and look to drive the ball more. Should easily have the speed to play centerfield at the upper levels, very good to the ball and shows range, gets rid of the ball quickly with playable arm strength.
