Hunter Milam is a 2018 LHP/OF with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Seale, AL who attends Russell Co. HS. Medium athletic build, plenty of room to get stronger. High leg raise delivery, high 3/4's arm slot, has good pace and direction, works quickly and is aggressive in the strike zone. Upper 80's fastball, topped out at 90 mph, primary fastball pitcher, gets fastballs off the barrel with a bit of late life and pitches to contact. Change up has good fading action with occasionally slower arm at release. Only threw one soft 12/6 curveball this outing, will have to develop this pitch for the next level. Command lefty who knows how to locate the ball and get outs. Good student, verbal commitment to Memphis.
