Riley Wash is a 2017 C/ with a 6-1 178 lb. frame from Longwood, FL who attends Lake Brantley HS. Has an athletic build, with good length and room to put on additional muscle. Posted a 7.59 second sixty yard dash. From behind the plate, showed solid actions and footwork into release, had arm strength up to 77 mph with carry down to second base. At the plate, right-handed hitter that starts with a high hand set and stride. Had good rhythm in load, showed good bat speed and barrel whip, lower half clears to hitting position, stays on a line drive plane, drives pitches back up the middle consistently. Good student.
