Joshua Brown is a 2018 RHP/1B with a 6-2 200 lb. frame from Las Vegas, NV who attends Faith Lutheran HS. Large frame with broad-shouldered, strong build throughout body. Ran 60 yard dash in 8.04 seconds. Showed simple, easy delivery on the mound, shorter arm circle through the back with good quickness and looseness, gets online well and repeats. Throws from low three quarters arm slot, generates good late life on fastball which worked 80-83 MPH. Pounds the zone on both corners and got lots of weak ground balls on fastball. Showed slider as well, good spin with short, sharp break. Worked out well at 1st base, fields square to plate with soft hands, clean exchanges and good footwork into pivot, made firm, accurate throws to 2B and 3B up to 80 MPH. Very good student.
