Evan Taylor is a 2018 LHP/1B with a 6-4 220 lb. frame from Florence, AL who attends Florence HS. Big and strong build. Compact delivery, gets loaded well over his back side, lands closed and doesn't get his strong lower half fully rotated back on line, creates some cross fire angle to the plate, high 3/4's arm slot. Mid-80's fastball, topped out at 86 mph, mostly straight. Curveball showed good 1/7 depth and spin along with some feel. Good student.
