Cameron Corliss is a 2020 1B/RHP with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from East Granby, CT who attends The Macduffie. Large frame with very physical, strong build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.97 seconds. Hits with large leg lift trigger to start, really gets front foot up into the air, shows feel for timing, coils torso way back, creates big separation through stride, serious strength and impact when square, big time juice to the pull side, swings it hard and does so with intent to do damage. Worked out at first base, showed good footwork and timing, positions well, clean transfer, clocked up to 72 mph on throws. Also pitched, longer takeaway through arm stroke into a hook, whippy low three quarters slot, creates excellent angle, fastball worked 77-82 mph with good life, works very fast and throws a lot of strikes, shows slider with some sweep to it and changeup with tumble, did a good job attacking with all three pitches. Excellent student.
