Sean Szestowicki is a 2019 SS/RHP with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Mount Royal, NJ who attends Kingsway Regional. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present physical strength proportioned throughout frame. Primary shortstop, quick actions and moves well on feet, works behind the ball and shows smoothness to hands with balanced and repeatable actions, picks the backhand well and stays low through actions, quick transfer and shows solid present arm strength across the diamond. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and a high hand set and back elbow in the box; utilizes a leg lift trigger for timing at the plate. Does a nice job of staying short to the ball with hand path and shows looseness and quickness to the barrel through the zone. Looks to lift at the point of contact and shows jump off the barrel when squared with loud contact to all parts of the field. Nice tools on both sides of the ball. Very good student.
