2016 Mid Atlantic Underclass Showcase
Connor Buggy is a 2018 C/3B, MIF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Hummelstown, PA who attends Lower Dauphin High School. Large, athletic frame with square shoulders and nice present strength proportioned throughout frame. Ran a 7.51 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, shows athleticism to actions behind the plate, comes out of crouch and gains ground with lower half, upright at release at times, quick transfer into a short and compact arm action, tight release and gets on top of throws, shows solid arm strength and accuracy, 1.90 best pop time. Righthanded hitter, begins with a wide base and bent knee stance with a medium hand set. Full swing path coming through the zone and shows nice hand speed with overall looseness. Short stride and leg lift into swing, remains balanced and gets the barrel to the ball well, generates occasional loft and is able to drive the ball when on time. Good student. Named to Mid Atlantic Underclass Top Prospect List.
